What Books Land Nepal records about you, why, and how long we keep it.
Cookies
We set two cookies. One remembers your basket so it survives closing the tab. One gives your browser an anonymous id, so we can show you the books you were looking at and suggest others. Neither can be read by scripts, and neither is shared with anyone.
What we record
The books you open and the searches you run, against that anonymous id. When you sign in, that history is attached to your account. We also keep your orders, your delivery addresses and your phone number, because we need them to send you books.
How long we keep it
Views and searches are deleted after 180 days. Orders are kept as business records.
Who else sees it
Couriers receive your name, phone number and address so they can deliver. Our email provider receives your email address so we can send order updates. Nobody else.
Your choices
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account.
